Grateful Reflections: One Week with Pure Blood Assassin

Dear Reader,

It has been almost a week since Pure Blood Assassin released into the world, and I’ve spent that week in moments of reflection. The days leading up to launch were a blur of excitement and quiet fear of sharing something I have worked on for two years.

What isn’t often talked about are the expectations that come with the heavy weight of something long-awaited. That it must properly be celebrated, and that my excitement should somehow outweigh my anxiety. But that wasn’t the reality. To share a creation poured forth from the heart is to share a glimpse into one’s soul. And that can be vulnerable. It can be scary.

And yet here we are, fears and all. The book is released and I’m so grateful.

Thank you to everyone who picked up my book. Whether you read the first page or finished the whole story, it means more than I can ever put into words.
Thank you for the kind messages, reviews, and encouragement from friends and readers alike. Your support has meant everything!

Pure Blood Assassin began as a whisper of an idea, evolving from the questioning thoughts of an avid reader who wondered if she could become a writer. And it grew into a creative outlet I never thought I would find so much joy in.

This is only the beginning. There are more stories begging to be told, more worlds to wander, and more broken characters to meet. But today, I’m simply grateful.

Thank you for walking this path with me. Thank you for pausing and giving my words a chance.

With love,

Arabella Altair
